I've not read any of your work as of yet. But saw your name on line and decided to take a look. I'm so glad I did, because this writing has such a wonderful natural flow. It was a pleasure to be taken on a nature ramble with you.
I too thought this a great I P Rhiannnon. I also think there's a message here, that it's never too late to change our ways, as like love_writing said, in the U turn at the end.
A thoughtful poem Bee, leading the reader to follow in the footsteps of the figure creating a landscape that is both haunting and also poingnant, but with a feeling of calm at the end.
I think poems are best written through stream of thoughts Bee. There's so many personal feelings and emotions written here, it takes your breath away reading.
