People said the eclipse would be partial. Nothing dramatic. Nothing like the total ones he had seen on television, viewed from foreign deserts or mountaintops. There would just be a dimming. A bite taken out of the sun. Enough to make the morning feel strange, perhaps. But not enough to stop him going about his day.

Alfred has finally released Part 3 of his Three Wise Men Saga, which earlier parts were posted around Christmas 2024 and January 2025. He has been working on it occasionally, wondering if it might go in different directions. Part 4 will be released very soon now as well. Melchior 'magically' finds freedom from the Israelis in modern Palestine, and rejoins his distinguished colleagues in their 'rerooted to the modern middle east' search for the Messiah (saviour!)!
