I can only say that aside it being a very disturbing short piece is this: Silence, wow. I mean that is just wow. It starts out somewhat like a kind of love story and ends in a bitter, brilliant, and slightly twisted end. I look forward to more.

Chilling. It's a pity that I read all but the last line in the preview though - spoiled the payoff a bit. Great stuff.

Mike, "A simple twist of fate" is brilliant... every single bit of it. It conjured up images of Martin Scorcese films in my mind - almost seemed as though Ray Liotta was reading it to me.
