What if I were slimmer?
A 10 or maybe 12.
Would you love me more?
Or would you leave me on the shelf?
What if I were younger?
20 instead of 30.
Would that make you want me?
Or even make you a bit more flirty?
What if I were blonde?
Instead of being brunette.
Would you remember our anniversary?
Or would you still forget?
What if I were stronger?
And put my foot down more.
Would you start to respect me?
Or would you just walk out the door?
Well, I can only be me,
And I wont change for you.
So what if my what if's were yours eh?
Go on, tell me what you'd do!

I like this nat, I love the line "So what if my what if's were yours eh?". The narrator asks the questions, does she really want to hear the answers?
Good stuff,

Hi hunny, this is great Nat!
I totally agree with Kheldar, that line is definitely my favourite. There's a lot of power throughout the poem too and I really like the rhythm of it. Can't wait to read more of your stuff now!
See you soon :)

Aw Nat, no surprise that you've nearly reduced me to tears here hun! It takes two to tango, you've been there for me too through all my many ups and downs and the feeling is completely mutual, you're a star :)
Most of my writing was created because I had something I needed to get off my chest too, and it really does help. Once it's in print it kinda frees up the space in your head, and your heart, and helps you to see it a lot clearer, so I'm really pleased that you're feeling the benefits from it.
You're a cracking woman, Nat, who has brought me many a smile throughout the years we've known eachother, and anyone who can't see that needs to take their shades off and take a proper look! Not that I'm pointing fingers or anything....:)
Keep writing though, Nat. Keep venting and unleashing, because I for one really enjoy it when you do!
See you very soon,
your proud friend,
Rachel xx
