Spring's in a hurry
By Steve
- 674 reads
with luminescent hair, she came
downing all over
transparencies, streams and dreams
scattering...
petal after petal and pedal after pedal,
the bicycling
the rotation of the flowers,
flowers springs out, overloaded
jaded flings into reality, the beauty
of white
studded on the branches of trees.
O tell me tell me plus that you love me
that you will always love me
as petals drop in springs or ponds or rivers,
tell me you'll kiss me fore'er
on this bridge
as the water falls
as nature draws,
as i am.
i drink you in with my eyes,
years ago
my petals fell so deliciously here,
one after the other...
we came here together
lost in the intoxication of vines,
we were young
and school was out.
do not distrust me my darling for
i love you well
much too much for you to know
our love is of the sacred kind
much too much to love.
then it all ended and the son
shone through.
my eyes blinded
and you disappeared.
