The Crying Game

Weeping.... Oh weeping!...
Before sleeping
Or should I say slipping?
°
Have you been hurt ?
Have you been deceived?
Will they forgive
you messing the start?
The game you were playing
leaves you dizzy and swaying;
you can't catch the balls,
you can't run full length;
it takes all your strength,
your aims and your goals.
You're feeling so small!
Like a dice on a board,
looking battered and sore,
with your 'issues' and all.
'I give up !' Then you call.
But the game goes and goes
with your friends and your foes,
jumping up, down... Some fall!
And you are in the middle
looking left, right... The riddle
that can never be said,
like a secret well kept.
If you knew how to win,
And discover the clue !
But that wouldn't be you !...
And to quit is a sin.
C'mon now that begins
another match ! Are you in ?
°
Weeping and weeping
before a harsh slipping.
Or I should say sleeping ?
It's the story of your life.
You can never say no,
you're too scared to let go...
And the players have knives.
Will it hurt when they hit ?
You prefer not to know.
It's your panics that grow;
and the flurry... And the heat.
You don't know where you're standing,
losing the game before landing.
Don't know what is the score...
And you're asking for more !
