He had black hair and green eyes that sparkled. He was athletically built and his smile was some sight! His teeth were all white and the made his whole face light up. Amelia couldn’t take her eyes off him.

“You’re late,” the teacher said.

‘Sorry,” Tyler said smirking, as if he was the king of the class and the teacher was just a peasant.

“I don’t accept apologies. Next time don’t be late or you will have detention,” the teacher said, squinting her eyes at him.

“Whatever,” Tyler said shrugging.

Amelia hated his attitude. Who did this guy think he was anyways. Being a millionaire doesn’t mean you can do anything. Amelia wanted to smack him in the face.

“Go sit near Amelia, in the back,” the teacher said.

Amelia groaned.

Tyler went and sat near a blondie who was not even Amelia.

“Tyler that is Nicole, Amelia has brown hair,” The teacher said shaking her head and rolling her eyes.

The kids laughed at him.

Tyler just ignored them and finally sat near Amelia. He gave her a glance and grinned. “Hey beautiful,” he whispered.

Amelia looked at him, “My name is Amelia, pervert.”

Tyler had a shock expression on his face. No girl had ever called him a pervert. They would giggle and be all over him. Looks like it was going to be harder to impress girls at this school, he thought.

“My name is Tyler.”

“I heard,” Amelia said giving him a fake smile and shaking his head.

He held on to her hand and she blushed. Amelia quickly pulled away and wiped her hands on her pants. Like she wanted to fall for a weirdo and she had a boyfriend already.

“Oh so you do like me?” Tyler said grinning.

Amelia rolled her eyes and said, “Please stop grinning. It looks like you just had a car accident and no I don’t like you. I have a boyfriend already.”

“I’m not surprised,” Tyler said and winked at her.

Amelia pretended to puke.

“I know you want me,” Tyler whispered and touched her legs rubbing it.

Amelia slapped him. “Don’t you ever touch me there freak,” she said a little to loud.
The teacher gave them both a glance.

“Detention both of you,” she said.

Amelia groaned but Tyler just smiled. More time with the girl, he thought.

Amelia got home late. Her dad was in living room watching the news. “Hey dad,” she said and gave him a quick hug.”

“Hey pumpkin, how are you?” he asked.

Amelia smiled, “Good, just a long day at school.”

“Hope everything is going okay,” her dad said concerned.

Amelia nodded and said, “Oh everything is fine, just a new boy.”

“Well if he ever bothers you, you can talk to me,” her dad said. “Speaking about boys, you know the big house across the street, somebody finally bought it. It’s the Holmes, one of the richest people on earth. Tyler is there. He’s about your own age.”

Amelia screamed.
