Been there, done that. twice now. Unfortunately the publishers don't share your confidence in my abillities. now i write for pleasure. ~But thanks for the support. At least i know somebody reads my work. ;)

One of my tutors said that these days most publishers are only interested in people who are already famous - it doesn't matter if they can barely string a sentence together; their name sells books. What are you gonna do? ;)

ain't that the truth! My tutor told me that the best chance is to approach some of the smaller publishing houses as they're more likely to embrace new authors. Random house wasn't that big until J.K. Rowling so the smaller houses are always looking for the next big break. ;) tell you what Pia, you try getting you're work published and i'll do the same; if mine's good enough yours definitely is as well!
