Continue popping extacy
Approaching needing therapy
I crawl in bed and flop

Dance while you talk to me
Smoky club fantasy
Missing life's normalcy
I dream

Think now and calculate
Stop now and advocate
Don't try to aggravate
I scheme

I civilly apologize
Subconsciously I rationalize
Retelling I sensationalize
And failing then I stop

This poem bounces as you read it, which suits its content perfectly. I like the abrupt and short rhythmic lines at the end of each stanza.
