Mr. and Mrs. Johnson loved their new neighborhood. All the neighbors were very friendly, the school was good, and there were lots of kids for their children to play with. Not to mention they had the nicest house in town. When Mr. Johnson returned from work, he noticed Mrs. Johnson out in the yard staring at the new house.
“What’s wrong babe?” asked Mr. Johnson
“Something’s just not right about this house honey.”
“It just feels weird because it a new house honey, I promise everything is ok.”
“You’re probably right,” said Mrs. Johnson.
The two entered the house and waited for the children to arrive home from school. The children arrived home right as Mrs. Johnson had finished cooking supper. Mr. Johnson told Mrs. Johnson that he too now had a strange feeling about the house. They just decided to go to sleep and everything would be better in the morning.

He got upstairs and looked around but he didn’t see anything. Then, he heard the footsteps again. He turned around to see one of his sons run across the hallway. Mr. Johnson asked why he wasn’t out with his brother meeting the new kids. The boy said he didn’t like any of the local children, that they were very strange. Mr. Johnson told him that he can’t decide he doesn’t like someone just because they’re different than what he’s used to. He then told his son to go out and play with his brother and the other children.
The children had been gone for many hours and Mr. and Mrs. Johnson were starting to get pretty worried about their boys. They decided they would go out and see if they saw them anywhere. As they opened the door and stepped outside they noticed something strange, all of the neighbors, but they looked different. They all had very pale faces and tattered clothing. And worst of all they saw their two boys in front of the others, reaching out for them...
