A Most Perfect Moment

Just floating, summer’s first monarch butterfly
across this valley of thoughts, blatant floral desires
open paper-like wings, purposefully caressing the air
her passion for flying displayed in each banking turn
Wild flowers below stand up and seductively beckon
Come drink and talk to me, of all the wonders you have seen
I have the sweetest nectar and see in you, the greatest need
share the most perfect moment, you’ve hoped could ever be...
Come, lie and rest awhile, share your summer dreams with me...
