a light
By Steve
- 1714 reads
a light from a firefly is enough
to breath constellations of stars
through bends of space
through bends of drops,
one can ear
melodies of such unending joy.
a light is light enough
to lighte the burn, burn off one end
and mask the other
roll off the side of the moon
to ecstacies of unending fury.
a light dances through space
suspends disbelief,
rolls all the dimes into one
blisses and lisses
lithesome lullabies?
all the lights in the sky
above the clouds
above the trees
deciduous with envy,
sloughing off patterns of waking eyes
til blankets dawn to sleep
pleated pajamas painted with butterflies
under the bowl of the sky
the naked sky
so slowly descending.
flutter across the sky
the naked belly
cyclopsed in time
the endless highway
seeing all eyes and nothing.
do not tell me the world is cruel,
only
mark this
that tis time
tis time.

Lovely surreal soundscape...
... I wondered if you might look at your enjambment and punctuation; consider pace you'd like the reader to follow with eye and heart. Quick review of spelling. All these edits I make too, so not poking at you. :)
best wishes
