post they saw flocks of

birds fly – fleeing the flames.

A few simple words and a beautiful image with so much meaning. Fire is terrifying - more than words can say. That anyone would deliberately start a fire is the height of wickedness. 

My best wishes go with you and your daughter - along with those living with this fear, and of course, the animals. Thank heavens for those 'Fire Angels'.

Thank you for your response, Bee.  I appreciate the time taken to read and comment.  The words just came out as a Cinquain... no editing needed.  As you say, very simple but what needed to be said.
