When her eyes slowly opened to the dim light of the room, Anduin find herself again pressed to the same white stretcher which she fears most. The humming sound of the electricity and the smell of medicines made her drowsy.  A plastic paddle was pushed into her mouth and a metal arch was lowered on her head, which made her hands clenched tight and her eyes closed tightly. She heard the doctor murmuring with the nurses beside him on the settings of the shock therapy machine.

“All set? Then go,” said Doctor Joseph, signaling to the nurse with him who switched on the electric meter.

Anduin knows what awaits her after those words every time. She held her fist and eyes tightly as she felt a surge of electricity passing over every nerve of hers. She convulsed violently on the stretcher and felt a mouthful of foam coming out of her mouth. Again she heard the voice commands.

“Stop,” ordered Dr.Joseph.

Anduin was relived for a moment as she can feel the pain abate. She let herself open her eyes and looked at the doctor. Staring’s were the only visual for her dead and pale eyes.

“Again” said Dr. Joseph, increasing the power of the electricity to a little more this time.

The next time when her eyes opened, she was back to her cell. A dark cell with a small window on the top of the wall just for namesake. The foam stains still remains on the edge of her cheek. She drank some water from the jug for her and felt herself tipsy. She struggled to walk or even to stand. She moved toward her steel bed and lied down and freed her thoughts to Den, her imaginary companion.

Time passed and the asylum was so quiet. No beam of light can be seen nor can any sound be heard. Darkness was the only leisure at that time for every inmates. Suddenly Anduin heard an echo of a shoes nearing her cell. The steps stopped suddenly with a beam of torch lights piercing directly on her eyes. It was Grima, the asylum assistant.

“Doctor has summoned you now” said Grima in a harsh tone.

“Now? It’s been too late at night. What’s in this time? Asked Anduin

Grima, without considering her reply unlocked her room and pulled her to the doctor’s cabin. She didn’t resisted but Den resisted. He wants to know the reason why the doctor calls her this time.

“I have no time to reason with you filthy witch” said Grima and dragged her to the cabin.

The lights kindled on their path to the cabin which woke up other prisoners in the asylum. On seeing Anduin out their cell, they all yelled at her loud together.

Witch, Satan-worshipper, wielder of devils power. Kill her and drink her or give it to US.

Some hands were even pulled out of the cell bar to catch her and hurt her. But the Den can foresee everything which helped Anduin to dodge before the attacks happen. Grima doesn’t even mutter a word for the doings of other inmates because he too was of the same interest that to kill her and drink her. Anduin felt the hold of Grima’s hand lowering to her butt. A sudden shiver lightened up on her body. She felt herself in the peak of seduction but Den was not ready to give her to some scum like Grima. He grabbed him on his neck and bite him. The pain released the hand of Grima on Anduin’s body. They haven’t talked anything about the thing happened just now. As a two serious souls, they moved towards the cabin of Dr.Joseph and pushed open his door.

Grima left the room on the doctor’s order. He signaled Anduin to sit on the seat in front of him. He looked deeply into her eyes for some time and so was she. They both looked deeply into each other’s eyes. Joseph felt some heat gaining on his body with the look of Anduin. It was of honey dropping from her lips. He himself diverted his looks and started to talk with Anduin.

“So how is Den? Does he visited you today? Asked Dr. with a smile.

“Yea. He is with me now.” Answered Anduin.

“Good. So, what made you jump today” asked Dr. politely

“Because I was needed somewhere.” Answered Anduin quickly.

“Elaborate it”

“It was yesterday night that Den visited me after a long time. He said there is something which is meant for me to do. If it isn’t me none can do that which results in a huge loss especially for me and my family. Then Den himself planned the ways to jump from here and took me with him. I absolutely don’t know how he executed the thing, but I was outside with him, running to the directions he say. When he said me to stay, I saw myself lying in a road naked, bathed in blood. I screamed suddenly for seeing me in such a stage. But Den corrected me. He said it’s my twin sister who hasn’t paid me a visit for nearly 10 years. Some burglars looted her and raped her and injured her badly and left her in the middle of the road. When I walked towards her, I saw two lights hastening towards me and my sister. It was them who left her in that stage. They hasn’t stopped the car even when they reach near us. A sudden stimuli to protect myself made me to say something so loud. Actually it was Den who yelled at them some spell. When I opened my eyes I saw that beam of light was changed to a car which is further crushed and squeezed. The humans inside the car was not seen for the road was again blooded. I took my sister to a nearby home upon the command by Den. For whose goodness I don’t know, the first person I approached helped me to take her to hospital. It was then your people saw me and caught me and took me back here”

“So, the sickness has not been decreased from this much of treatment, right?” replied Dr. sarcastically.

“The sickness lies upon you who see those have a skill to foresee things, as insane my dear Doctor.” Frowned Anduin.

“Me, yea… I was about to release you if you hasn’t done this thing today for sure.” said Dr. slowly.

“Release me? Why releasing me if I hadn’t done this. And where to go? To the family that welcomes me with tears upon their eyes. To the visual of my sister’s burial in any low graveyard and to hear others sympathizing on her fate. I don’t want to be released to those things. It’s better to stay here with Den.” Said Anduin in a great anger and dismay.

“For now you can go and have rest. I don’t have anything more to ask.” Joseph finished his words with head bowed. And continued” do I need to call him, Grima?”

“No please, if he again escort me to the cell, you can see a black cat from tomorrow who reaches you when you yell Grima’s name.” warned Anduin and backed off. Actually it was Den who said that.

Doctor was puzzled with the words of Anduin. He ringed to the mother of Anduin to ask whether she has got a twin sister and if yes, where is she now. But the voice on other side was crying loudly and was cursing Anduin.

“It’s her price that my daughter Enduin has received. God started to reward us with the deeds of Anduin. I beg you doctor, kill her for she is the daughter of devil.  Darkness dwells where she treads. I warn you doctor, kill her” said Anduin’s mother in a great anger and hanged the phone quickly.

From that day onwards, no shock treatment was given to Anduin for the doctor was the only one who understood her real power. The ability to foresee things and act is not a gift that everyone gets. It is us that of unsound mind who doubts them of their skills that god gave them which equals them to his powers, to do the things he wish to do. We can only harass them to be abnormal or we can only envy at them.

Anduin for the rest of the days remained in the cell with the company of Den until he shows her another great deed to be done.
