Through fragrant Esplanades

Through fragrant esplanades, of nature’s sweet arcades
We run -wild- with soft feet; and with full sense-filled eyes.
Shards of pale petals flow, in this free-for-all show,
brought forth by the green man’s, wise whispering sighs.
In the whoop of the breeze, we twist in this frieze;
In the mirror of magic -we dance- as this slow cycle begins.
Within and without, the worlds are shaped by our shouts;
And we gladly sing, as we joyfully bring
Gifts to his alter, from his sons and his daughters,
For in the kinship of pan, we celebrate the green man.
Yes, we know the path we take, is forged by natures rake,
So with a flap and a -splat- into deep puddles we so gladly go.
And we leave in our wake, blended throws of rich laughter
That slide off into the forests mists like a whispering doe;
That’s mixed with a trickle of rich thought in our footsteps
To then twinkle away ‘til the last leaves are thrown.
And then we will rest in the soil of frosts midnight
Under crystalline stars we bathe as we slow
Our breathing is slowing as we linger in winter
To wait again for the springtime to show
To wait again for the springtime to show
To wait again for the springtime to show.

Lovely imagery, a mythic feel
Lovely imagery, a mythic feel, ancient and present at the same time.
