Interestingly put, Tina. So easy to get distraught over loose ends, and to miss 'jobs' more important or just noticing some beauty, which you so well describe.
(on rainbows, we were thrilled a couple of days ago in seeing a bright wide 'pillar-rainbow' in front of us and the russet trees each side of the road suddenly glowing with caught sunlight against a dark cloud background' and the 'pillar' momentairly seemed flame-bright and rainbow-banded. We didn't have a camera, and by the time we'd stopped I expect it would have gone!
