This is just too gorgeous - appeals to all the senses, and so full of wishes. And wistful.

"a whisper of Angostura
"a whisper of Angostura bitters...
a tornado of textures, flavours, fandango with my mind...
hues that burn and bleed and bind"
I'm salivating! Great stuff Silver.

wow this is a sensory treat..
wow this is a sensory treat... you must become very attuned to sound, naturally, over time... seems v effortless - here at the start there is the sharp 'k' sound 'ivory-musk drifting in the fickleness /of a dally-day dusk', & also the d alliteration, then straight after sharp 'p' alliteration followed by 's' sounds 'long to pile upon your pillow,/pale as star-shine on a mountain stream'. i wonder if these things just happen or you have to be conscious of it, plan them. compound words dotted around work well too. great work! :)

wonderful, yes i can see it
wonderful, yes i can see it becoming a natural thing over time, i hadn't thought of the music link before but i can see the link between playing by ear, becoming attuned to progressions/dynamics/rhythm etc in songs, and this being transferrable to poetry by degrees. how interesting, thanks
