In A lifetime…

 

There are times we have plenty

Times we have nothing

Times we feel more

Times we feel so much less

 

We run the gamut of joy to sorrow

In a lifetime from childhood to adult
 

We get stuck in a moment

Stressed by decisions

Stopped by mediocrity

Lost to who we wanted to be

 

But buried under acceptance

Beats a childhood desire

 

Possibilities = Chances

Roads to travel = Dreams to chase

One life = One lifetime

To be...to be free........

 

To embrace all...take a chance

On what the Child had imagined… we could be.

I am so pleased you liked it. I had been battling with my inner child this week and this poem just came out of it. My inner child is very positive and I forget sometimes how to be. Thank you again for your wonderful comments...they were very appreciated.
