Love Poetry

Love poetry
The taste of words on your tongue
But be wary of poets
The waste they lay of hearts so young
Constantly in search of beauty
Measures of new truths
Drams of pleasures
And raptures of fresh scenery
So the poets inconstant heart
Will leave you forsaken in the dark
The candle of desire long burnt out
This nights pleasures drunk
The novelty of your cup emptied out
And only a torn page
Hanging over your nude poor wage
Tucked between the pages of his story
A flower left to dry
Forgotten desire
A moment to mark the page
While the poet wanders on his love expired
You were a sweet dream
Now empty as a cavity
He's left you for a new scene
His eyes gleam with new mirth
As your tears rain upon the earth
Girl, head my warning
Love poetry
But be wary of poets!
