Gravity

She said to me “I don’t think you understand the gravity of the situation”

We are not supposed to be. You and I.

Opposing forces.

I try to resist but your eyes are black holes

From which I cannot escape

Your smile is the moon. A flash of stolen light and  

My body gently ebbs and flows to your will.

I try to escape but I am newton’s apple

Falling. Drawn into the center of you.  

Your power penetrates me, extends all around me

She worries you will consume me.

She said to me “I don’t think you understand the gravity of the situation”

I don’t think she understands gravity, at all.
