Just Our Little Secret
Can a secret ever do me good?
‘Just our little secret…’
Whispered in my hood
To tell is to die
But I’m dying to tell
Perhaps they won’t believe me
Do you think I should?
Making sense of confusion
Is beyond my clouded mind
I feel such deep division
Whirling thoughts careen
And bubble in my brain
‘A fantastic imagination…’
I would tell them if I could.

Nice little piece
Conveys a combination of mystery and confusion with a concise choice of words.
