Two Gods.

So, with nothing rebuilt on the Holy Ground, Travellers moved in with their caravans, lots of them.

Oh dear, really it was amazing they hadn’t moved in sooner, they smashed the huge padlock that held the two iron gates together.

It was reported to the Vicar, and she went and had a chat with them, their Spokesperson said, “We will move on in two days,” Two days came and went, again the Vicar went back, and again, their Spokesperson said, “We will move on in two days,” You guessed it, those days too came and went and still the Travellers remained.

I was telling someone about it and I said, “The G-d of the Old Testament, would have sent a lion, (1 Kings Chapter 13 Verses 24-28), hornets, (Exodus chapter 23 verse 28) boils, (Deuteronomy Chapter 28 verse 27) fire falling from above, (2 Kings Chapter 1 verse 10) or the ground would have opened up,  (Numbers chapter 26 verse 10) and swallowed them.”

I’m in a closed group with some from my place of worship, and thankfully I’m with the few (two of us) who said, “Call the police on them,” The majority in the group were sweet, and said, “Let us pray for them, that they will know the Lord.”

Thank G-d, we are now in a time of Grace, the G-d of the New Testament, sees us all, not through rose tinted glasses, but through Jesus, through the blood he shed on the cross. In the Old Testament animals had to be sacrificed for our sins, but Jesus died once for us all, He ended the need for sacrifices for sins. G-d cannot look at sins. And no one is perfect, and all need a Saviour.

Like many people, I’ve had knocks in life, and this had made the natural me, not the nicest person, I’ve ever met, I put my foot in it, I say the wrong things, I in the past have hated myself for the silly things I’ve said, done and written on this site and regretted, and for that I'm very sorry, I can't go back in time, none of us can to do the right thing. I’ve prayed to G-d for His forgiveness and I’m SO pleased I haven’t got to go to a priest and tell him what I’ve said or done, but I go instead to the High Priest Jesus, (Hebrews Chapter 4 verse 14-16).

I did feel ashamed, that I wanted to call the police on the Travellers, Jesus in the New Testament wouldn’t have done that, He would have gone, with bread and fish, and healed those who was poorly. He would have made them feel welcome, He would have shown them nothing but kindness.

A lot of people don’t like Travellers, but at the end of the day, we are all loved by the G-d of Heaven. So, now I too pray for them, before I wanted to take a picture of them and put it on my Facebook, but that isn’t a Christian thing to do, that would just hurt them and make them angry.

Now I pray with the others in my group for a peaceful solution.
