Cars

filled with hopes
and dreams as drivers
change lanes in
hurrah movements
foot pedals feeling
the pressure of anxiety
on choices today.
In this case dad
getting his daughter
off to school--
wake up & brush teeth
responding to hurry
from a one parent family
mom off to Heaven
last painful year.
Lives intertwine—
one drives the other listens
child and parent living
off each other’s love
and life’s rules -- up to
work and school
then play.

The difference
The difference is the size of their toys. My very earliest memories are of little toy matchbox cars and later on skalectrix and posters. It was a great treat we usually got a new one as remorse of the dads after your hiding.
Frogs and snails and puppy-dog's tails! Cheers Richard!
