A Wholesome Threesome

THE SINGER wrote

a jigger of a song-

adjusts his string guitar

and teases eager lips

as a tune escapes

around the bay. We listen

to its charm from

a sharing heart-

phrases bringing joy

as the singer continues

to soothe-

and finally gains

a satisfied rest.

I WISH I could be adopted

and discover a family who really care

one who knows love in great supply

as mist that comes surrounding

with hugs tumbling in waves

layered with many moist kisses-

my bags are packed.

when you are not in my

or wrapped in my arms
