Whether counted in years,
or in heartbeats measured by fitbits,
all things must pass: believe it.
There are no tomorrows
and all tomorrows’ parties are cancelled,
we have our today: let’s live it.
There are some yesterdays
and all our yesterdays’ memories
are a complex Venn: forgive it.
Don’t look back, nor forward:
in this existential howl of a now,
just remain present : survive it.
