The Breach

The Breach
one’s threads become unwound, unglued, off paced, unleveled ground
and searching viewed
through vision's skew
in silence cause synapses bound
each for each to misfire, reroute
forever lost…abound
while body…you, holds near
all things known
and treasured dear
in backward turn
is time dislodged
to tumbled sphere
in place unwatched
slows in sleepy spaces be
reversed in flow
beyond logic’s consciousness
now replace
chrysalis-like and
hung…
body…you
above a maze in wait
constrained by scene perceived
your pronounced distortion’s
proven breach
remains
what was in memory now was not
what is…is present gone
what might have been…will not be done
in myriad minute’s
passing glance
by night, by day, by dusk
a sun’s dawned blush
turns ever dark
lulling back a world grown small
and still-dimmed beyond again becoming hushed…
till all of you and body full
unfolds and empties unfound

This poignant poem is your
This poignant poem is your way coming to terms with the sad unravelling of the one you love. This is something many of us will have to face. I found it terribly moving.
There are so many lovely lines. "What is is present, gone. What might have been will not be done". "A sun's dawned blush turns ever dark, lulling back a world grown small and still...."
