King Charles III,
The King In Waiting for so long,
He’s been steering the Nation and the World as much as he was allowed.
Saving the hedgerows, and the trees, and the natural life of the United Kingdom.
He has been warning about climate change for a long time.
He’s been saving the old buildings too,
preserving the styles of the past, so that they don’t disappear!
He will try to save the monarchy,
He knows it can use its influence for good.
Don’t let the bland profiteers take over everything,
Keep some colour, and character, in the life of the nation,
Preserve the Arts, music, theatre, comedy!
Keep the connections of Commonwealth!
We could do so much worse than to have Charles represent us.
I do like King Charles and Queen Camilla,
Her name has a real ring to it!
He is Arthur to her Guinevere!
A real golden age could begin with such a monarchy,
The start of a real Green Age,
when the forests and hedgerows can return and flourish,
When the people can learn to enjoy and build the future once again.
A future without the monopoly of energy suppliers holding us all to ransom and stifling our shoots of personal and business growth,
Where balanced economics and society can once more hold sway,
A United Kingdom, a Commonwealth, a world community,
Where decency and care, and preserving climate and nature, can be our priority!

We can only hope for all of
We can only hope for all of those things. If Charles and Camilla can make a contribution for the greater good then they will go down n history as decent people. "The Green King". Yes, why not.

I find myself agreeing with
I find myself agreeing with Alfred N Muggins on most issues. I do sometimes wonder what subject he has a differing opinion on with David Kirtley. It would make an interesting piece.
