Norwich Cathedral La La La

We were only there for minutes, Nine

of us on the patch of grass outside.

Norwich is a perfect city for stag-dos,

it is so much better than Bristol,

I am constantly telling people.

The bells sounded as we were walking past

and we just walked in, no need for an

explanation or a plan, even STAGS understand

it's important to spend some time being quiet

sometimes. I sat there and thought about Duncan

and how we'd have loved him to to have been there

with us. I think a couple of people took photos

and Chris went for a walk inside, before we looked

around to see we were all together again, ready

for a walk to the river for pubs 4 and 5 and maybe 6

and then the Waterfront, before the long walk back

to Unthank Road. Here we are. All nine of us.

Off we go again. The echoes of the church bells

still ringing in the early evening Norwich air.

It's very touching that you thought of Duncan. A bit of meditation and reflection on a stag do is a good thing, though probably quite rare.

And Bristol's not bad.
