Does Suella Braverman know what a Democracy is, and how it works, or should work?

(In response to the argument that there should not be a ProPalestinian or Call For a Ceasefire March on Armistice Day 11/11/23 in the centre of London, as it is disrespectful to the memory of servicemen and women from past conflicts)
I think the Palestinian issue is rather urgent at the moment as there are large numbers of homeless and hungry people with nowhere safe to live and insufficient supplies of everything at the mercy of a military machine that doesn’t care about them and nobody with any ability to defend them is willing to do so. Most of our soldiers from the world wars are now dead but should always be remembered. We always imagine the horrors of the past will remain in the past, but unfortunately they have not.
I suppose there is a feeling by many that the hypocrisy of our western nations is exposed by the ‘blind’(?) support for Israel’s excesses. It is not as if Israel has clean hands regarding Palestinian rights. We fought wars supposedly to make the world a better and safer place eg WW1 and WW2, and Korea, the Cold War, Falklands, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan, and here we are backing an ethnic cleansing state in their punishment of a subject and dispossessed people for the actions of overzealous resistance fighters. It does not make me very proud to be British or European or an ally of America. Many people will be on the streets because of that shame. It is a time for honesty!
Suella Braverman is only around 40 years old. She is a child compared to many of us who have at least followed the demise of the Palestinian peace process and the re-emergence and continuation of Right wing Israel’s land expansionism. What does she know? Not a lot, by the sound of her. She doesn’t even understand why we feel like we feel. She evidently shares the right wing of Israel’s belief that Palestinians are a people that don’t matter!

It's a horrible situation but
It's a horrible situation but I read that negotiations re a ceasefire are happening between Hamas and Isreal. Common sense has to prevail soon. Surely?

The dictionary definition of
The dictionary definition of armistice is something along the lines of an agreement made by opposing sides in a war to stop fighting.
I'm writing this for the Armistice Day people, lest they forget.
