Hello, I have decided to join this site to help broaden my horizons with writing and reading. I am yet to add something here, but I will do so, most probably in the New Year.

For the time being, I would like to read what this site has to offer. My taste is fairly wide, I do enjoy horror, thriller, crime, ghost/haunted tales, as well as something highly amusing. Stories about broken hearts and sickly romance do not appease me, we all go through that in life, I do not wish to read about it. No offence here to those romantics on site.

May I trouble you and ask who or which stories would you recommend?

Welcome Nick - these are good places to start - so just roam around and enjoy! There are some fantastic gems in here - and then again.... But that is the beauty of ABCtales - everyone is encouraged to write, regardless of ability - and, you never know, some of us get a bit better!

Hi Nick. Welcome to the strange world of ABC. I also thought I knew what I liked before I started reading some stonking fiction on this site. It will open your eyes, and maybe even bring tears to them. You'll find yourself realising that not all luvvy-duvvy stories are crap, and not all thrillers are brill. But enough of this nonsense - get reading!
