How come, I can't reply to some threads

I think there's a time limit on them - I'll check with Fingers.

Thirty days. It was set up when that random poster set up a thread about some scam or other, with phone numbers for a police station that was dealing with it, and it kept popping to the top every three or four days wuth people who had found it on google adding their comments. It drove everyone potty. I feel quite fond of it now.

God, I miss that thread. And Ratty. Little tinker.

I'm sure the time limit was useful at the time, but it's getting irritating now.
