I think this isn't new, but I'm so glad to see it round again, a witty take on casual relationships that makes most chick-lit look very turgid.

Try this as a taster: The next day I was awarded my PhD in Female Reactions to the Phallic Centre and was offered a job teaching first years Contemporary Women's Fiction. Red said, 'Do they know you are a fraud?' I said 'Yes,' and he said, 'Could you give me a blow job to say thank you?' and I said, 'No, yes, oh, okay,' and he said, 'There's your PhD there, in only four words.' Clever, funny and elegant.
I have to agree, read this twice and think it is awesome. It is fluid and artful and kooky. I want to read more of it. Span
I agree too - engrossing stuff. So 'tidy' as well (barely a word out of place). It's perked up my morning no end!
I found this engrossing to read as the the dialogue was wonderfully irreverent and very natural. I like the narrators comments on her sister as this revealed a lot about her own view on life etc. Particularly enjoyed the end when red became blue. I guess i would have liked a little more depth into the narrrators mind - which was present at the beginning when she comments that she always falls for this type of guy (as if it is a bad thing). Did she actually like him more than she let on to him - it seems they are equally happy to keep things light and transient - but in my own exprience one or other usually wants more, and it is he that is setting the tone eg. talking about serious feelings without sincerity.
