Inspiration point (IP)
Lille Dante's wonderful series based around song titles is an absolute joy to read, and so I'm unashamedly nicking that idea for this week's Inspiration Point, which is: Reasons To Be Cheerful. Hoping ABC Talers will lighten some of the pervasive gloom at the moment! (I don't need to remind you, of course, that you cannot quote directly from the song, copyright and all that.)

I didn't know how much I'd come to love you
It's completely unpolished, but the IP made me think of my mum, who can be an inspiration and a challenge, and I'm feeling nostalgic. It can be bittersweet to find myself growing closer to my parents and at the same time see them grow older, and live in a different country.
