After the 10th hospital visit of Psigor being the same size Petrach
and Ninny decided to throw another lavish party.

Therefore, on the proscribed night, when Petrach went to answer the
door and found Ming Ya and children, Yin Yang Chung and Spoonitsy Chan
all gathered on the hotel rooftop he wasn't surprised.

He invited them in.

At nine o'clock Petrach rang a little cowbell and coughed politely. As
no-one paid any attention to this he climbed up onto the sideboard and
kicked a plate of mixed nuts up into the air. All eyes were suddenly
upon him.

"Tonight," he said, "Ninny and I have invited you here to celebrate
the birth of our son."

"Haven't we been here before?" said Spoonitsy rudely.

"We didn't celebrate properly before," said Petrach, "as our son was
very small and appeared to be getting smaller."

"Here here," said Ninny and clapped her hands in quite the wrong
place.

"But now," said Petrach, continuing, "all that shrinking is in the
past. Now we have a son who is not shrinking."

"How wonderful for you," said Spoonitsy. "But is he going to get any
bigger?"

This was the question Petrach had been dreading.

"Well?" said Spoonitsy.

"Our son has yet to do the opposite of shrinking," said Petrach.

"You mean he's not going to get bigger?" said Spoonitsy.

"We doubt it," said Petrach.

"I see," said Spoonitsy Chan and then she didn't listen anymore
because that was exactly what she had wanted to hear.
