still searching?
here is a wonderful oasis
so tranquil and serene
look how lovely the tall palm trees surround her
creating the most exquisite place for meditation
prostrate beside her inviting waters
so you may sip slowly and with utter control
as your thirst had replaced your skin
and organs leaving an empty shell
begin to drink life's nourishment
swallow
swallow
swallow
awww...you feel the cold water as it
hits the dry back of your throat!
no words describe that unbelievable sensation
how long have you been without water?
did you feel in that single drop your soul kiss your tongue?
savour that sip and stop
place the round of your face down into the peaceful wet coolness
shhh...be still and just f e e l
your eyes flutter like a tuning fork
as it enters you, oh! where have you been?
you then raise your damp face to the sun
the heat penetrates you
exorcising the tired, sad inner turmoil
the moisture from your eyes begins to flow
soothing you
filling you
relaxing you
making you whole once again
no longer divided
no longer in turmoil
no longer alone
but at one with your tired body
your now quiet mind and your exhausted emotions
your joyous soul kindly returned
wrapped tenderly in life's purest of loves.

sitting here in temporary contentment
i lean to one side and witness the moisture
willingly crawl down the side of the crystal geyser emblem
a quenching drop
to my parched wicked tongue
solitude wasted in this moment
as if that was it's goal
it's motive
it's existence?
a reflection of what i lack
temptation constantly beckoning me
try it
taste me...
she will never know.
exodus upon my soul!
