Visualizing Time

We were getting ready to do a visualization exercise and someone suggested we might as well do time again. It really is so difficult to let go of the concept of things happening in some sort of a linear time line. We agreed an environment first. If we made it hot and arid with no pleasant distractions it would be a good place for introspection.
We had to have a strong metaphor to focus on and it didn't stretch the imagination too far to think of something to do with clocks. We could visualize letting go of any thoughts of time as one second chasing another around a two dimensional measuring device (as if it was something that could be measured mechanically!).
So there we all were thinking of how to represent letting go of our good old ideas about time and someone said, what if we just visualized ourselves as being clocks and then we could start melting. This sounded very much like what we needed so we settled down and this is how we became melting clocks.
We didn't mind at all when someone else came along into our thoughts. We had all managed to melt down quite nicely so we were about finished anyway. With the exercise that is, we're still struggling to get to grips with time!
It was not at all difficult to see our visitor had come up from the earth plane. He probably won't remember anything at all when he wakes up and even if he did, nobody would ever believe it was for real. Goodness knows where we all used to go to in our dreams when we were down there.
Funny thing is he looked like he visualized himself as some sort of artist.
