My life

Went into London today to see big sis. Actually she's not looking
very big at all. She proudly showed me her pregnant tummy, but I have
to say she just looks like she's had a Christmas dinner or two. Time
will tell.
Bought some cute little baby socks for Molly. Seeing Sarah (Molly's
mother) and Sally tomorrow night at the Swansea reunion, which should
be good.
Spent a couple of hours this morning at the College job. I was supposed
to meet my student and see what the job involves exactly, but he didn't
show up. So next week I'll be in at the deep end doing it for real, if
he turns up then that is. The College is friendly and the people nice
and helpful. So far I just have one student all Wednesday morning.
Still, I do have two other jobs at the moment.
This is the week for doing unpaid job trials. Tomorrow I go into the
hospital job for an hour's handover before starting on Monday. Again
it's in at the deep end. The lady I'm job sharing with will be having
her day off and the lady who recruited me is on leave. I think it'll be
more or less a case of answering the telephone in an "I know nothing"
kind of way, until I learn on the job.
R just called from Antwerp. I am so excited about all our Christmas
parties. I can't believe the company will pay for my travel, hotel,
party, etc in Antwerp. How exciting!! Things like that just don't
happen to me. Mind you, neither did meeting a man I really could spend
my life with before. Looked at loads of potential dresses for the do's
today but haven't found the dress of my dreams yet. I am trying to
adhere to the red, white and blue theme without looking like a BA
flight attendant, which is quite difficult. I don't think red, white
and blue really go together&;#8230; red and black maybe, blue and
white maybe, but not all three together. I hear on the grapevine that
some people are going for the red knickers
option&;#8230;&;#8230;&;#8230;..!
So, life goes on and is enjoyable. The future is looking rosy. And it's
nearly Christmas. What more could a girl want?
