NUTTER - HAPPY TO BE OFF MY HEAD

I'm happy to be off my head,
If it means that I am me.
If it means I'm not a robot,
That's the way I'd rather be.

I want to feel free with ideas,
I want to be expressive.
Life without imagination,
Would simply be depressive.

I want to laugh at silly things,
And feel spiritually young.
For where is the joy in living,
If it can't sometimes be fun?

Would you rather have a free life,
Or one of regret and dread?
Life is for living. The mind is for thinking;
So I'm happy to be off my head.
