Go Bump
I first saw the house
And I knew it wanted me
From that face at the widow
Too that beckoning tree.
So the deal was set
And the sold went up,
It put a smile on the face of the seller
And she got back in to her car
And shook her umbrella.
I stayed and looked for a while
so damp by the rain,
But I felt the house calling
It said, come back again.
So I went to live in its shelter
But it would not leave me in peace
Taps and knocks the turning of locks
Sad sighs and foot steps,
Am I starting to regret?
These footsteps would lead me down to the cellar
And leave me in there with the ghostly storyteller
The cold slab on the floor
I could see had been moved before,
And it keeps its secret underneath it.
