A Beautiful Thing.

Before this time, before this place,
Ever lost in past's embrace,
Never to be seen again,
A love lies lost, emersed in pain.
For two so destined to be true,
Forever seemed so bright and new,
Love reigned supreme but fate was cold,
Eternity was far too bold.
Cruel intentions brought the night,
Kissed him with a monsters bite,
Tore the lovers far apart,
Broke the promise, broke the heart.
Time slipped by, still he mourned
While she thought herself a woman scorned,
He thought of her as lovers do,
With memories fond, and grief anew.
She too was lost in painfilled dreams,
Where their true love still reigned supreme,
And not a beat was in his heart,
That did not her sweet name impart,
But soon their time was 'way back when',
And a century lay 'tween now and then,
She was long gone his heart cried out,
Lost while he lived on in doubt,
That he would ever know such bliss,
He knew then in each tender kiss,
But fate was not so cruel it seemed,
For his faith was to be redeemed.
One night in search of lifes rich gold,
He heard a voice he knew from old,
A gentle sound that called his name,
A word not heard since he lost loves game.
He turned his lifeless heart awoken,
To see by whom this word was spoken,
And there his eyes met eyes he knew,
"My God," he said, "It can't be you"
"It is," she said, her eyes on fire.
"I am like you, i am vampyre,
I've searched for you these hundred years,"
He ran to her through clouds of tears.
"My love, I'll never let you go,"
"Nor I," she said, "Not now i know,
That love has brought us back at last,
finally we can leave the past."
"Eternity lays at our feet,
Time our love could not defeat,
And time will make it stronger still,
It'll stay with us I know it will"
And so the two were joined again,
A love carried to now from then.
And with each breath her name he'll sing.
For love is such a beautiful thing.
