Such bitter sadness,
Such sweet torment.
That home, that life so torn apart.
That frail facade, that broken heart.
That smile and nod, that tender hand.
That word that they all understand.
They carry food, they flowers bring.
They talk of whispered everything.
They move around, they silent be.
They leave in groups and then there's me.
This place alone. This stillness strong.
These echoes of a love now gone.
That scent that lingers in the air.
That pain in one now empty chair.
No sound I hear, No sound I make.
No sense can my crushed soul intake.
Once there now gone in fleeting frames.
From faces with forgotten names.
Kind words. Strong hands. Bright lights throughout.
I could not scream. I could not shout.
But now inside my voice arises.
Breaking through my weak disguises.
Crying for the endless pain.
The shattered heart. The ceaseless rain.
Their worlds go on, unending days.
My life is done. He lifeless lays.
That journey I must too endure.
This one I cannot anymore.
I seek to find a quick release.
To find my love. To find some peace.
Cold hands embrace the shining steel.
His face to see, His touch to feel.
Courage wakes as suffering grows.
No one gets it. No one knows.
One kiss and all will be revealed.
He went alone. My fate was sealed.
One heartbeat, two. One trembling hand.
One noise.
One Light.
One silent stand.
Darkness falls now tinged with red.
Body falls now sight is dead.
No words.
No tears.
No pain anew.
He's not alone. My heart was true.
My love, my grace, my little one.
My rising moon, my setting sun.
My beating heart. My every breath.
My crushing grief. My sudden death.
My precious child. My light my star..
For you no journey is too far.
