What happened????

What happened? My tower collapsed,
the engine conked out,it's bowel prolapsed,
the carpet is rotten,the walls have gone yellow,
it couldn't have happened to a nicer fellow...

The door is warped and my guitar's untuned,
the wind died down and my yacht's marooned,
there's a devil outside and he swears I know him,
and I can't find the words to end this...
