A Soldiers Lament

A Soldiers Lament You sit and Judge? You Judge and sit! Is it what you
believe? or is it just what you want? Life is a long road for some; and
peace is killing the dove. Watch her fall into a pit of despair Where
she can reflect in her own blood Who cares; do YOU? You run; you hide
and say what is fair: and is just? Well you seem to know or think you
do You are now safe from oppression that bathed in blood? Can you now
Judge your oppressor from a distance There is no oppressor here No meat
hooks, no baths of blood. No fields of hope laced with hate Waiting to
blow you to oblivion Could we all not say? Enough is enough lay down
your hate Stop the world and start it again Break bread with your enemy
And bath his wounds Tell his mother you have killed her son Or Walk to
the city burdened with hate and pull the strings of belief Or send
silver birds from Heaven To destroy the twins so mighty Who are you?
You know me I am HATE God made me and he made you!
