Friday

Even though I'm glad it's the end of the week
I know it all starts again Monday
So I slip my tongue in cheek
telling myself: "It's okay"

It just doesn't seem like much
Five business days are done
Now it's laundry, dishes, errands &; such
Just doesn't seem like much fun.

I suppose it's better than Sunday
when I know it starts over again
I guess I'm glad that it's Friday
Let the weekend begin...
