I Think Therefore

I am, I am, I am, I am, I am, I am, I said.
But no one heard a single word for I said it in my head.
If I think "I am" I wondered - does it prove that I'm not dead.
Or merely that I think I am - when I'm something else instead?
I am, I think... I think I am... I'm sure I am... I think.
Am I? Could be mistaken. Well at least I'm sure I'm pink.
Could just be the lighting though - I might be turning white.
If I should move a single muscle would that then end my fright?
Well - if I'm dead, it's not too bad - at least I'm still aware!
So, am I, or not? It's hard to say - I'm not sure that I care.
