Looking around anxiously to see if anyone was watching, Katie unlocked the locker door and pulled it open. Inside sat the beautiful wooden box.
Checking the corridor and the stairs behind her again, she snapped open the small dragon's head latch and lifted up the lid.
A soft pink glow lit up the eight compartments inside and the tiny locks on top of each of the wire doors, glinted in the eerie light.
Katie cooed at the creatures locked inside the cubicles and dropped in a few silver grains for them to eat, but her eyes flashed red as she peered into the top left-hand section. Cogrose was missing.
She checked again, Bilbard the now shrunken, leathery headed giant was there, Pilcher the silvery hand that took memories away, Kroak the stair monster and Gloop who loved swimming in the tapioca, they were all there in their separate compartments, even Jippy smiled up at her sweetly, but it, Cogrose, had disappeared and now Katie was extremely worried.
Moving the box forward, she felt at the back of the locker and in the corners, and swept her hand underneath the box, but found nothing.
Shutting the lid and snapping the lock shut, she stared around the corridor and spotted the slimy sparkling trail. It ran from the top of her locker door and up diagonally and across the ceiling and down the stairs.
"How on earth did he escape? she thought to herself.
She was worried; her own power had grown over the last few months and although she could control the other creatures, she still didn't feel that she had the power to control this one.
Suddenly, Mary came rushing along the corridor.
Katie quickly pushed the box into the locker and slammed the locker door shut.
"There you are, come on you'll be late for P.E. she said dragging Katie by the arm and down the stairs...
"But I can't. said Katie desperately, looking towards the stairs and trying to follow the sparkling trail, which had now turned into the toilets.
"Oh yes you can, said Mary forcefully, as she pulled Katie by the arm, "come on, we'll be late.
Katie couldn't explain to Mary why she wanted to stay behind, that is without raising any suspicion and Mary was far too strong for her. The large girl dragged Katie down the stairs, out of the main building and across the playground towards the gym.
"All right, all right I'm coming, just stop pulling at my jumper. said Katie irritably, as she pulled her sleeve out of Mary's grasp and back up her arm.

Julie was a fantastic gymnast and when Katie and Mary ran into the gym, she was entertaining the girls by somersaulting across the floor. After two back flips, she fell to the floor and completed her show by doing the splits in front of Katie. Everyone clapped raucously, as she got up from the floor, bowed deeply and smiled at Katie cheekily.
Most of the girls sat on the bench at the side of the hall, eagerly awaiting the lesson. It was going to be great, as they could see that the teacher had already set up the assault course for them.
Miss Tremor a small muscular woman dressed in a bright yellow tracksuit with black stripes down the arms and a silver whistle hanging on a red ribbon around her neck, explained to the group what they had to do. Jump over the wooden horse, over the benches, up the rope and after touching the top, down again and then through the hoops and as usual, the first team to complete the course would each get a merit.
However, there were the few, who included Katie, who hated doing P.E. They all sat quietly at the other end of the hall trying to be invisible.
Veronica trembled at the sight of the teacher striding over to the group.
The weekly ritual of showing notes from parents and pleading 'the time of the month', rarely worked for the majority of the group.
"Right you lot, bellowed the teacher, "lets hear the latest excuse then.
"I forgot my kit Miss. whined Patricia.
"That's alright Pat you can wear the spare kit, here you are get these on she said as she threw Patricia a grey tatty tea shirt and a pair of black jogging bottoms with holes in the knees.
"I can't wear these protested Patricia, holding the clothes up for all to see.
"Yes you can and you will. Go and put them on NOW the teacher snapped.
Patricia walked away towards the changing room. There was no way that she was going to put these on, but she didn't know how she could get out of it.
"Right who else wants to wear the other spare kits?
Two of the three girls left on the bench got up and ran to the changing room leaving Carole behind.
"My asthma Miss said Carole breathlessly.
"Yes I can see that. said the teacher unsympathetically, and where's your pump?
"I forgot it Miss. she said quietly.
"Go to the nurse you idiot, fancy forgetting your pump, go on get out of my sight.
Carole's chest tightened as the teacher screamed at her and as her breathing laboured, the teacher suddenly got worried
"Oh for crying out loud, said the teacher irritably and changing almost instantly, she lowered her voice and said quietly It's alright Carole, just breathe slowly. JANE she shouted across the room, "take Carole to the nurse; go on before she faints on us again.
Jane gave the teacher a dirty look, as she sat down next to Carole; she knew exactly how Carole felt, the tightness and panic, which was now filling her chest was all too familiar to her. Jane rubbed Carole's back and whispered in her ear, Don't listen to the old cow, just breathe slowing and think about our outing next week, we're going to have such fun especially on the water chute aren't we. Carole nodded her head and her breathing began to even out. Helping Carole up, Jane escorted her charge towards the exit.

Julie zipped through the course in next to no time and sat on the bench on the other side of the room watching, as the rest of the girls went through the course.
Katie could not get up the wooden horse, let alone over it. Mary came up behind her and grabbing hold of her foot, she heaved her up onto the top. Katie jumped down the other side easily and shouted,
"Thanks. as Mary followed her across the benches.
This was easy, but climbing up the rope was difficult. Katie's hands were far too small to fit around the thick rope and hold onto it properly. She tried again and again to climb up, but it was no use.
Mary laughed at her efforts, but suddenly stopped and declared "Err¦. as a horrible eggy smell wafted up into her nostrils.
One by one, the girls stopped what they were doing and looked at each other, whilst waving their hands in front of their faces, to fan the putrid odour away.
"Err¦what's that horrible smell? shouted Mary, with her face scrunched up and holding onto her nose, as the stench filled the room.
Julie sat on the bench holding the bottom of her sweatshirt up over her nose and laughing uncontrollably.
Mary shouted cheekily at Julie, "Is that you again?
"Who me, of course not. yelled Julie, as she headed for the door.
Miss Tremor ushered the whole class out of the gym and told them to get dressed, whilst she went to open the gym windows.
"Right, said the irate teacher when she arrived back with several small pieces of glass, sitting in the middle of a piece of tissue paper.
Holding it out for the class to see she asked, "So who was the idiot, who let off this stink bomb?
Patricia smaned, but all eyes looked at Julie.
"Don't look at me. said Julie innocently, "I didn't do anything.
Mary gave her a sceptical look.
In primary school, Julie and her brother were both practical jokers, they loved putting drawing pins on people's chairs, leaving live frogs in bags and putting itching powder down people's necks.
Julie had caught Mary out, on the very first day of term, when she left a realistic toy spider on her seat. Mary jumped a metre in the air and fell over her chair when it happened, but laughed with the rest of the class when she saw that it was only a plastic toy.
The whole class sat in silence on the changing room benches waiting to see what the teacher would do next.
Katie was still very worried about the missing creature and sat next to Mary biting her lip nervously, but Mary was more worried about losing her break, as she needed to get to the library to finish her History homework.
This time they were both lucky as Miss Tremor had to go to a meeting during break time and so she let the class go, after ranting on about safety in the gym.
Julie giggled as she said, "Did you see her face, funny wasn't it?
"You're priceless, tell me, when will you grow up Julie? said Mary in an old-fashioned tone.
"Shut up Mary, I didn't do it and anyway it's only a bit of fun, you sound like an old woman. said Julie, as she walked off towards the main building.
*
Unexpectedly, and much to Katie's annoyance, as she wanted to go in search for Cogrose, Mary dragged Katie to the library and made her sit and wait as she copied out the facts about Queen Anne.
During Maths, Mary told Jenny to behave herself when the teacher asked for silence and then in the food technology lesson, she shocked Katie when she smacked Diana's hand, just as she was about to steal a biscuit from the cooling rack, telling her that she should wait until they were ready to eat.
Katie stared at Mary, this wasn't the Mary she knew and for the rest of the day, she followed her around, keeping a very close eye on her.
In the canteen at lunchtime, Mary decided to polish the entire collection of cutlery in the basket sitting next to the till.
"Look at the state of this one. Mary said picking up a knife and polishing it with one of the paper napkins. After she had checked through the rest of the cutlery, polishing them as she went, she then decided to sort through them again, so that the knives and forks with the same pattern on were all together.
The girls in the canteen started to crowd around to watch her.
Florence, the cook came over to see what the commotion was all about and got very annoyed when she saw what Mary was doing.
"Clear off! she snapped, "the cutlery's already clean and they don't need sorting out. Go on, go, we're not having a flipping dinner party you know.
During the textiles lesson, the class were given a pattern book and ten minutes to choose a simple pattern for their next project.
Mary cooed, uncharacteristically, over the multicoloured oven pads and the toilet roll holders, in the shape of a doll dressed in a crinoline dress.
At one point, even the teacher asked Katie if Mary was feeling unwell and by the end of the day, Katie knew that there was something terribly wrong with Mary and that this was definitely connected with her escaped creature, Cogrose.
*
Katie waited behind after the bell went and when the initial clamour to get out had died down Katie hid under the stairs, in the broom cupboard and waited, until she heard the caretaker lock the main door of the school behind him. Creeping out of the dark space and looking out of one of the glass doors, she checked that Mr Bracknell was on his way home. Then running up the stairs to her locker, she searched the area carefully. Her eyes glowed red when she spotted the familiar line of sparkling slime leading up the wall. Opening the locker, she pulled out the box and laid it on the floor. Snapping open the dragon's head latch she let Jippy out of her cage and watched, as the creature grew to her full size in front of her.
"What's the matter mistress. asked the wide-eyed creature, as she smoothed down her long red dress and flicked her golden hair back over her shoulders.
"Cogrose has escaped.
"What shall we do? said Jippy looking anxiously around at the walls and ceiling.
"I need you to help me catch it.
"No mistress it's too dangerous, you'll have to call Count Rispell.
"No, he'll ruin it all and I won't pass, you mustn't tell him do you hear me. Come, I can catch it, but I need you to distract it while I lasso it with the silver rope.
"But what if it turns on me? said Jippy.
"Jippy trust me, there's no way I'm going to let it hurt you, now am I? she said reassuringly, "Come on we have to find it tonight.
Throughout the night, Katie shone her red eyes through the school as she followed the silver slime, but the creature had been everywhere. Up the stairs and through the Science rooms, along the outside walls, even in the toilets. Its sparkling slime crossed itself in many places and as the pink sun rose in the clear blue sky outside, Katie and Jippy, exhausted by now, still had not found the creature.
Sitting on the staircase Katie sighed deeply as Jippy rubbed her shoulder with her large hand.
"Do you think it's left the school? asked Katie, looking around the ceiling.
Jippy shrugged her shoulders and sat down next to her, but suddenly she sat up straight.
"Listen. she whispered apprehensively, as she pushed her golden tresses behind one ear.
A small squelching noise on the stairs above them was getting nearer.
Katie's eyes flashed and in their pink light, the long slug like body of the life sucker slithered down the stairs with its silver eyes looking greedily at the pair in front of it.
Katie fumbled for the silver rope in her pocket, but it had wrapped itself around a pen and she couldn't get it out. Zippy saw her struggling and decided to distract the creature. Jumping up six steps, she leapt onto the creature's head and over its long thin body. The creature turned on Jippy, with its thick lips sucking at the air. Jippy screamed, as a stream of air sucked at the hem of her dress.
Katie had the rope in her hand, but the creature had seen it. Trying to untangle the knots in the line, Katie ran back down the stairs as the monster slithered towards her. It moved remarkably fast. Katie threw her rope at the creature and as it hit the monster on the back, it growled in pain. But instead of stopping obediently, as it should have, it dashed towards the radiator in the corridor and slid down a mouse hole, like a long line of spaghetti. Katie tried to catch it, but it slipped through her hands and in next to no time it had disappeared from view.
Jippy hopped down the stairs dragging her left foot behind her.
"Come here Jippy, what have you done?
"I haven't done anything; it caught me on the leg, look.
Holding up her long skirt, Jippy showed Katie her wrinkled bony leg.
The beast had caught her on the leg and sucked out the life force from it, making the leg wither.
"If this happens to a human, said Katie gravely, "it could be fatal. I'll make it give it back to you when I catch it. I think you've gone through enough for now. Come on let's get you back to the box, while I try and work out what to do next.
"Will you call the Count now? asked Jippy.
"No, I won't. said Katie stubbornly, "I'll work it out for myself, just give me time.
"But you may not have any time left, what if¦ but Katie slammed the lid of the box down on Jippy and banged the locker door shut.

Katie had failed, the lifesucker was still in the school and there was no way that she could know who it would attack next. Sitting in the cupboard under the stairs, she tried to think of what to do.
Mr Bracknell unlocked the front door and began to sweep the reception area, whistling merrily whilst he worked. Katie held her breath, as he opened up the cupboard door and put the broom right next to her, but luckily, he didn't see her and shutting the door, he walked off down the corridor and towards the main hall.
Sneaking back up the stairs, she ran into her form room and sat at one of the desks trying to think of what to do, but her mind was blank, she had no ideas. She didn't want to call the Count if she did, she would not make the grade she wanted. No, she had gone too far to fail now.
When Mary came into the room, Katie stared at her face in astonishment. The edges of her mouth and the corner of her eyes had small wrinkles around them and she was sure she could see grey hairs, in her short chestnut coloured curls. Her whole body looked a lot thinner than it was yesterday, she looked so old, but Mary hadn't noticed.
"And how are we today young lady. said Mary tapping Katie on top of her head and pinching her cheek.
Tammie, Ann and Jenny flew through the door.
"We've just put a frog in Miss Craig's bag, you should have seen her face. boasted Jenny.
Jane who was sitting at the front of the room turned to Mary and shook her head.
"I don't know what's got into these children nowadays, no respect. she said as she put her book back up close to her eyes, trying to read the small print.
"Mmm. said Mary in agreement, "I think you should go and apologise to Miss Craig straight away, go on¦ go. she said frowning at the girls.
The three girls stared at Mary flabbergasted.
"What's up with you Mary? said Jenny as Mary suddenly spat a tooth out of her mouth and into her hand.
"Oh dear, there goes another one, blasted teeth, said Mary matter of factly, as she put the tooth into a lace handkerchief and placed it into her cardigan pocket.
Miss Rose came in to take the register. She was old, but as she hobbled into the room on her walking stick, she now looked positively ancient and as she called out the names of the girls, Katie knew exactly what was happening.
She needed to catch Cogrose and quickly.
Katie froze when she saw a long, thin finger of silver slime ooze out of a crack in the wall, beside the blackboard and fall to the floor.
But this time Katie had the rope ready.
Quickly tying a loop in the silver cord, she twirled it high above her head and let it loose towards the creature. The rope caught its victim around the head and Katie pulled it taut, as the creature struggled frantically to get free. Katie had to pull with all her might to drag the creature towards the door, as it tried to escape back into the crack.
Pulling the rope tighter and tighter the beast began to gasp for breath.
"GIVE IT BACK! shouted Katie, as the frightened girls and teacher huddled together, screaming hysterically in the corner at the back of the room.
"Give it back NOW! demanded Katie angrily as she pulled on the rope again.
The beast looked up at her with bulging eyes and she loosened the rope, but then it made a sudden dash for the window, dragging Katie with it. Katie was determined to stop the creature and gave the rope three short jerks, but this didn't stop it. Seeing the crowd in the corner the beast pulled on the rope with all its might, as it began to suck at the air. The girls screamed as Cogrose sucked at Miss Rose leg. Not knowing what to do each girl tried to get behind the other. Mary stabbed recklessly at the creature with a knitting needle as she screamed,GET BACK, GET OFF, SHOO.
Katie shouted at Mary "DON'T, LEAVE HIM ALONE, STOP IT.
Green blood oozed out of the creature's slimy skin, as Mary slowly slumped to the floor and began to shrink like a wrinkled prune caught in a hot jet of air.
Miss Rose screamed in pain as Cogrose suddenly turned, grabbed her hand and sucked at her life force with all its might.
Katie slung the rope over the door frame and after taking a deep breath, she tugged on the rope. Was she too late? Miss Rose was now shrinking rapidly before their eyes.
Cogrose wriggled and squirmed to get free, but Katie pulled and from deep down inside herself, she found the extra strength. This time the monster stopped, looked up into her red blazing eyes and lay motionless on the floor, Katie went over to the creature and cautiously stroked its head gently. It seemed to enjoy this and let out a funny clicking sound.
Katie's eyes turned crimson as she said softly, "Go on Cogrose, give it back.
The creature looked up as Katie's eyes pulsated crimson and pink,Go on, please. she pleaded.
The creature seemed to stop to think and then blowing a green stream of light through its large fat lips, the girls suddenly dropped unconscious to the floor, next to Miss Rose. Cogrose turned his head towards the ceiling and blew a stream of red and gold confetti, which fluttered down onto the lifeless group and as their life force flowed back into their bodies, Miss Rose and Mary began to swell and all the wrinkles and grey hair, slowly disappeared.
Katie pulled Pilcher out of her top pocket. The cloud instinctively knew what to do and flew around the room taking away the memories of what had just happened and as the memories flew out of the window, Katie dragged the slimy beast, into the corridor and back down the stairs to her locker.
Pulling twice on the rope the beast shrank obediently and slid onto Katie's hand.
With a self-satisfied grin on her face, Katie locked the box and after putting it under her arm, she walked out of the school building and headed towards the gate.
Her job was done, "Mission accomplished.she said to herself.
Mary ran to catch her up, "Where you going Katie, school's not finished yet.
Katie looked at her through misty eyes, "I'm sorry Mary, but I have to leave.
"Okay I'll see you tomorrow?
"I don't think so. said Katie sadly.
"What do you mean?
"I have to leave and I won' be coming back. I have to go home and it's very far away.
"But why? asked Mary looking anxiously at Katie
"Because my time is up.
"But you can't just leave, just like that, what about me? said Mary, as a tear rolled down her cheek, "aren't you my friend any more?
"Really Mary it's not you, its just time, I have to go, but you'll soon forget about me. she said as she hugged Mary.
Mary pushed Katie away. "No, I will not, said Mary indignantly, hurt by the accusation, "How can you think that. I've always been your friend.
Katie looked at her, what could she say. She was right, in the little time she had been at the school Mary had always been there for her, but she couldn't tell her even now.
"Can't you write or at least give me you're telephone number, so that we can keep in touch. pleaded Mary.
Katie smiled, but said nothing; just then, the familiar white limousine drove up and parked in front of the gates.
Mary watched with tears streaming down her face, as the tall thin man, still in the same black suit got out of the driver's seat of the car and opened up the back door for Katie.
Mary waved as she watched the car speed off down the road and when she felt the finger of ice enter her ear, she wondered what she was doing at the school gate at two fifteen in the afternoon.
*
The large imposing figure sitting next to Katie smiled at the small child and held out his hand.
Katie put the wooden box in the hand and smiled weakly as he checked the contents and after snapping the dragon's latch shut, he put it down on the small table in front of him.
"Did I pass? she asked politely, as she bounced herself back into her seat.
"Let's see. said the pale-faced man, as he searched for his notebook in the compartment next to his right elbow. Pulling out his small round glasses, from his top pocket, he clipped them onto the end of his nose and began to read.
"First Bilbard, not a very good start was it Katie?
"He ate Mr Jacks, but you saw what he was like, horrible little man. Pure evil he was and he got just what he deserved. said Katie furiously.
"Yes, but not that evil. I know he didn't treat you, or any of the other girls very well. he added quickly, but I think this was more like poetic justice, rather than skill on your part, don't you think? he said peering down at her, "you nearly got that teacher and yourself eaten as well, didn't you?
Katie's face flushed again, as she looked up at the figure timidly.
"Yes I know, but it did all work out for the best and he really did deserve to be eaten. Bilbard told me that he was the best meal he had had in over a hundred years. said Katie, as her eyes flashed red.
"Nethertheless, it was a very messy end and so only seven marks out of ten.
Katie scowled, "Only seven, surely nine. she argued.
"Maybe eight, but definitely no more. said the elderly man, as he rubbed off the seven with the eraser on the end of his pen and wrote the figure eight. Tapping the pen on his head, as if he was trying to knock out some information from his brain, his eyes lit up as he remembered what was next.
"And then there was Silester the silent gauze, but that was a bit of a catastrophe also wasn't it.
"No, why. asked Katie as her red eyes flashed, "Belinda was a bully and the worst kind.
"But bullies have problems of their own and you can't go around shutting their mouth's up just because you want to, you have to change their attitude, teach them where they've gone wrong.
"She learnt her lesson didn't she? She's not a bully any more, in fact she's now quite pleasant.
"I'll have to agree, to disagree with you on this one. I'm going to give you five marks out of ten.
The Count looked down at her waiting for her reaction.
"What, said Katie smiling up at him cheekily, "actually I expected a low mark for that one, she said, as she settled herself back down into the black leather car seat and pulled down her jumper.
"Next was Gloop, he really loved swimming around in the tapioca, in fact I had to save some of it for him and now he has a swim in it every day. said Katie proudly.
"Yes, quick and clean and a satisfying end. Mrs Stewart really was a nasty piece of work wasn't she. Yes, ten out of ten for that one my dear. he said as he wrote the number down with a flourish and tapped his notebook.
Katie's whole face beamed proudly.
"Now Jippy, she worked well with that conceited technology teacher Sykes, but then she was injured, when you got her to help you with Cogrose.
"She was brilliant, frit the living daylights out of Sykes, said Katie with a chortle, "she also did the school a favour, after he had his thumbs stitched back on, he decided that teaching wasn't really his thing, so he won't be putting anyone else down with his sarcastic remarks.
"Yes, very well done, ten out of ten again, but I'm going to deduct one mark because Jippy was injured whilst in your care, so that's¦ nine.
"But you can't do that. snapped Katie angrily.
The Count's eyes flashed red, but not the light red that would flash from Katie's eyes, but a deep scarlet red.
Katie backed down quickly, I'm sorry I didn't mean to. she said sheepishly.
"It's all right, when you've been living with some of these humans for a while, you tend to pick up some of their nasty little habits, just don't let it happen again. said the Count as his eyes turned back to emerald green.
"Ten out of ten for the use of Pilcher the memory catcher, the use of his powers was quite ingenious. he said smiling down at Katie, "and Kroak, I was impressed with the way you used the spiral staircase. I wouldn't say it was an overall success, you wasn't fully in control, as you had to rely on that silly man walking into the trap and Kroak nearly swallowed the fellow, but nevertheless a good ending. he said looking at her sideways and raising his black bushy eyebrows.
Katie blushed, but said nothing.
"Yes, I think eight out of ten for this one. Now what was next? he said as he wrote in his notebook.
"Hacker did an excellent job and I think your control there was first rate. Not only did Hacker stop the girl from smoking, but he also managed to heal up the cuts, leaving no scars at all. Well done that was good handling and deserves ten out of ten. To my reckoning, that's a total of sixty out of eighty so far and finally there's Cogrose, a very difficult task, but I'm glad you used him.
"But I didn't let him out, he escaped. said Katie embarrassed by the admission.
"I know, I let him out. said the Count smiling.
Katie turned on the Count and flashed her eyes, "What on earth for? she said crossly.
"We were running out of time and I needed to see if you could control him and you did, although you did let him get away at first, so I think I'll give you eight out of ten.
Writing the figures down in his notebook, he began to write out sixty-eight divided by eighty and times by one hundred makes.... Katie looked eagerly over his arm waiting for the final mark.
"Excellent, you scored, eighty-five percent. I make that an X grade, so you've passed.
Katie unexpectedly threw her arms around the examiner's neck and gave him a big kiss on his pale hollow cheek.
Embarrassed the Count coughed nervously, fumbled to put his notebook back into his briefcase and took out a large piece of paper, which looked like an official document. Then pulling out a gold pen, from the top pocket of his pin striped suit, he wrote Katie's name and her grade on the paper in red ink, signed his name at the bottom and after he had rolled it up and tied a thin golden ribbon around it, he handed it to Katie.
Katie's chest swelled with pride as she hugged her diploma. It had been hard work, but in the end, it had been worth it.
"Prepare for flight. sounded a small voice from the tiny tannoy above their heads.
"Right, its time to go home, fasten your seat belt, we're about to lift off. said the Count pulling his own belt over his shoulders and snapping it into the lock.
Katie peered out of the window and as the limousine raced along the deserted road, it sprouted wings and lifted gently off the ground.
Katie stared, as the fields beneath them got smaller and smaller.
Suddenly the car's engines revved up, shot them through a blanket of grey clouds high above them and out into the blackness of space.
Approaching the massive grey space station, with its sparkling red and green lights flashing on and off, she was amazed that the beings on the planet below had still not detected its presence.
"So what will it be next Katie? Black holes, Galactic languages or Time travelling? inquired the Count in his deep silky voice, as the vehicle approached the docking bay.
Katie's eyes flashed pink, "I've already got my Galactic languages diploma and I've heard that Black Holes are boring, I think I'll have a bit of a holiday first, you know all this learning is very tiring. Then I might try Time travelling, my friend Kadisha said it was quite fun, what do you think?
The count smiled, "That has to be your choice. he said as the vehicle landed on the long silver runway.
