Every waking moment of every waking hour,
When water hits the puppy field,
It sprouts a new puppy flower,
Now Karen read the instructions on the sign before the field,
And took two little baby steps using Jack as a shield,
Samuel uttered "There appears to be no such clouds?
"The length and amount we have walked I would love it to be aloud!
"To quench our thirst you would kindly say?
"Yes we've crossed so many fields upon this day!
"All you had to do was ask.
"Samuel when I say such things they appear like a task.
Samuel emerged a bottle from his pocket,
And dropped so many things to the floor,
One of them a rocket,
"This will be handy! Jack said as he took the little thing,
And placed it so delicately in his right arm sling,
A cloud began to appear and Karen has felt like this before,
When she first arrived at Nanny's while standing on the door,
"Are you the same cloud that bothered me so many moons ago?
To which it replied "I told you not to trespass! I told you where not to show!
"Well you can't stop us now, I had a feeling you were behind this!
And with that Jack jumped a mile a raindrop he had to miss,
They all stared at the place where the raindrop had fallen,
A stalk grew from the ground and Karen felt like bawling,
"Don't you worry! Dry those eyes! Samuel reassured,
"We save you from this mess I say! We will have this all cured!
From the stalk there grew a flower with a very mucky snout,
And from the flower there popped a puppy all the way out,
They snarled but it turned into a sneeze,
Covering our heroes with wet slime with ease,
Jack Faff announced "This slime is ridiculous it's melting my face paint!
Karen wiped it out of her eyes ready to faint,
And with that not one but seventy nine stalks popped out of the ground,
Squashing Samuel into Karen and Jack all around,
Puppies appeared from the end of the green stalks,
Samuel tipped toed to a skip then began to take a real walk,
The puppies all lifted their snouts just to sneeze out the slime,
Jack peered at his watch "Oh! Is that the time?
Too late and too much the slime poured all round,
Peppering the other puppies who grew from the ground,
Samuel hopped to a clearing with Karen on his back,
Jack trampled and galloped trying to keep the same track,
Dodging the slime wave to get the clearing,
The slime on their clothes the deepest of fearing,
But to the clearing they all got real safe to,
Tired and broken they lay there like you do.
