Nature Praises Him
by Paul H. Kogel
Merry be the heart of lovers
Merry be the soul so right
Happy is the voice enchanted
For they love him in the night
Blessed are the playful children
And the cattle in their graze
Everyone with hearts compassion
All of nature sings his praise
Cheerful all ye birds a winging
As your chirping chips on bough
For singing sends your praises upward
And you serve him with your show
So contented be sweet peddles
Gently float in water’s blue
All the sun rays through the meadows
Forever knowing his love is true
Gentle be the flowers blowing
On the wind in meadows fair
Showing all their colors blooming
For they praise him with their care
All the trees sway gently teeming
With the life of those on limb
And the love so common gleaming
All of nature praises him
