Dear Miss United States

When you, dear Miss United Statets
Were asked what most you'd like,
Of course the answer came "World Peace"
As you spoke into the mike.

Imagine all the people
living life in peace.
It sounds a perfect option,
Till you get down to the crease.

Our men and women in uniform
Who fought and battled long,
Would then be down the job centre.
Now doesn't that seem wrong?

And so I'd like to ask you,
Dear Miss United States,
Just what you'd do with the unemployed
If the world was a peaceful place.
