Timmy's day at the zoo

Timmy was a little lad
Small, minature and whole
He wanted only simple pleasures
And a pet that he could hold

He wanted an iguana
He wanted a lion too
He wanted all the animals
He visited at the zoo

Timmy was a happy child
So full of life and joy
He wanted only real pets
But instead he got a toy

He wanted an elephant
He wanted a monkey too
He wanted all the animals
He’d seen at the zoo

Timmy was a stupid boy
Although he looked so neat
He wanted to be a lion tamer
Till he nearly became the meat

He didn’t want an iguana
He didn’t want a lion too
He didn’t want any of the animals
He visited at the zoo

That scared him at the zoo
